A little about me…
I am a wife, a mother, a tutor, and I have a passion for life.
Above all, I encourage my students. I offer support to them throughout the school year, and I build lasting connections with the students that I have the privilege of working with for an extended period of time.
As an English major, I absolutely love to write and read short stories, poetry, and great novels. My hope is that the excitement I have for finding connections and patterns within a text is contagious. This will result in my students writing papers with great depth. It is important to me that each student finishes a session and has more confidence in their writing ability.
Qualifications…
I graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in English and went on to home school my older two children through 6th grade — both of whom earned the title of valedictorian in their 8th-grade year.
I began tutoring in 2011 and have spent the past 15 years working with students attending some of the most competitive schools in Silicon Valley. From editing essays for business conferences and essay contests to helping students earn better grades and gain acceptance into their dream colleges, I am passionate about every aspect of this work.
I also serve as a writing tutor at the college level, where I work with students across a wide range of subjects, because great writing is a skill every discipline demands.
In addition, I am proud to teach classes for Best In Class, bringing the same dedication and enthusiasm to every student I work with.
It has been an absolute pleasure to meet so many incredible students and encourage them as they pursue their academic goals.
